SAFETY

SAFETY OVERVIEW Safety is our first priority at Century. The work we do is dangerous, and if certain precautions are not taken and certain policies and procedures are not followed, serious injury and even death can occur. Every Century associate is responsible for helping create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment and thus is considered a Century Safety Officer. If you work at Century and are on a jobsite and see an unsafe situation, you are responsible for either mitigating the unsafe environment or immediately contacting another Century associate who can. Along with safe practices on the jobsite, Century is also committed to all our associates’ safety while at work. Each division has a Division Safety Manual authored by a Third-Party Safety Vendor that needs to be reviewed and followed by all associates to keep both our jobsites and offices safe.
