SAFETY POLICIES Hard Hats It is a Century policy every person on a jobsite is required to wear a hard hat, 100% of the time, every day. This policy is non-negotiable, as safety is our number one priority. OSHA CERTIFICATION As a member of the Construction or Customer Relations teams, you are required to be OSHA certified. OSHA 10 Hour Construction is the minimum requirement. OSHA 30 Hour Construction is required in Nevada and Utah. If you are already certified, please provide a copy of the certification to the National Director of Safety via email. If you need to be certified, training is provided by a Third-Party and can be scheduled by the National Director of Safety. An OSHA 10 certification, or OSHA 30 (NV or UT) is required within 90-days of employment.

IMPORTANT! Failure to obtain your OSHA certification within the prescribed 90 day time-frame will make you ineligible to receive a quarterly bonus and/or annual incentives, and will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Safety Compliance Center (only for jobsites with trailers or offices in models) With our focus on safety, it is a Best Practice to create a Safety Compliance Center in the construction trailer or office. • Should you have a Trade Partner/Supplier missing their hardhat, there should be an extra hard hat available on site. If an employee is hurt on site, you have a Century-provided First Aid medical bag ready to help. Should their injury be more serious, a plan is outlined to get them the help they need as quickly as possible. • Be familiar with the items in your Safety Compliance Center as you may need to recall and retrieve them quickly if needed. • As the Construction Manager on site, it is your responsibility to maintain and update the Safety Compliance Center. Put a notice on your calendar every month to run through your Safety Compliance Center, verifying all is compliant. If your stock is low on any items, alert your Division Safety Officer (DSO) to get replacements.
