E. Floor framing Floor framing should perform to its engineered specifications. Floor framing that does not perform to engineered specifications will be repaired. F. Structural column or post is out of plumb Wall columns and posts should not be out of plumb by more than 3/4ths of an inch over an eight-foot span. Columns and posts that do not meet these standards will be repaired. G. Structural post, column or beam is bowed Framing posts, columns or beams should not bow by more than 3/4ths of an inch over an eight-foot span. Posts and columns that do not meet this standard will be repaired. H. Structural post, column or beam is twisted, split or cupped Framing posts, columns and beams should not contain splits in excess of 3/8ths of an inch over four inches, be twisted or bowed by more than 3/4ths of an inch over an eight foot span or be cupped by more than 1/4th of an inch over a five-inch length. Posts or columns that do not meet these standards will be repaired. I. Roof ridge beam, rafter, ceiling joist or roof truss has bowed or deflected Roof ridge beam, rafter, ceiling joist and roof trusses should perform to engineered specifications. Roof ridge beams, rafters, ceiling joists and roof trusses should not bow or deflect by more than one inch over an eight-foot span. Roof ridge beam, rafter, ceiling joist and roof trusses that do not perform to engineered standards will be repaired.
